NYC!

First things first.

I cannot read or even think the words New York City without my brain saying it like these gents:

I recommend reading the rest of this post in that voice, but it’s totally up to you.

I’ll be presenting some of the lab’s NM-INBRE funded medical image perception work at OPAM24 on 11/21/2024. Collaborators include Dr. Michael Hout (my lovely advisor), Dr. Megan Papesh (UMass Lowell), Dr. Gio Del Sordo (ma plus charmante collègue), Bryan White (another wonderful labmate), and Rebecca Penn (also a really cool labmate). This is my first poster ever, y’all. Get pumped.

And. Get this. I am coauthoring a poster on using VR to train search-and-rescue teams, to be presented by the incredible Paean Luby from University of Richmond. Other coauthors include Dr. Michael Hout, Dr. Arryn Robbins (Paean’s advisor AND a former PhD student of Hout!), Bryan White, and Rebecca Penn.

ALSO.

I’ll be presenting some work from my master’s thesis at the annual meeting of the Psychonomic Society on 11/22/24. Poster Session IV. Here’s a sneak peek (no spoilers):

If you go and look at it in real life, you will probably be like “wow, this is the most amazing poster I’ve ever seen”. There’s only one way to find out.

OK, that’s it for now. Bye!
